Simple from the start

A clear path to a cleaner system.

You’ll know what we find, what we recommend, and what happens next.

01

Schedule

Schedule an appointment and provide basic information about your property and HVAC system.

02

Initial inspection

Upon arrival, the technician evaluates accessible portions of the HVAC/duct system and discusses any concerns with you.

03

Recommendations

If additional conditions are discovered, the technician explains the findings and available service options before additional work is performed.

04

Cleaning

Professional equipment is used to loosen and remove accumulated debris from the duct system.

05

Additional treatment

When purchased and appropriate, sanitizing, antimicrobial, UV-C, dryer vent, or other indoor air quality services are performed.

06

Final inspection

The technician reviews the completed work and any recommended maintenance with you.

Most residential services can be completed during a single appointment. Actual service time varies depending on the size, configuration, accessibility, and condition of the system.

A little clarity

Good questions.
Honest answers.

Understand your options before you make a decision.

Tell us about your home
How often should air ducts be cleaned?

There isn’t one cleaning interval that’s appropriate for every home. The need depends on factors such as pets, renovations, previous occupants, visible debris, HVAC conditions, and how the home is used.

Will you show me what is inside my ductwork?

When accessible, our technicians can show customers conditions discovered during the inspection or cleaning process.

Do you clean dryer vents?

Yes. Dryer vent cleaning can be performed separately or added to qualifying duct-cleaning appointments.

Can you remove mold from my HVAC system?

We provide cleaning and treatment services for appropriate HVAC surfaces where suspected microbial growth or contamination is observed. Visual appearance alone cannot determine the exact type of microbial growth, and laboratory testing may be necessary when identification is required.

Do you test for mold?

Unless specifically contracted for an appropriate testing service, our technicians do not represent visual observations as laboratory-confirmed mold.

Does UV-C kill mold?

Properly designed UV-C systems can help control microbial growth on surfaces receiving sufficient UV-C exposure. UV equipment is not a substitute for correcting moisture problems or physically cleaning existing contamination.

Will duct cleaning eliminate every odor in my house?

No company can responsibly guarantee removal of every odor because odors can originate from numerous sources outside the HVAC system. We can address HVAC-related contamination and discuss treatment options based on what we find.

Do I need to leave my house during service?

Usually not. The technician will explain any precautions associated with specific treatments being performed.

How long does duct cleaning take?

Service time depends on the home’s size, number of systems, duct configuration, accessibility, and condition. Your technician can provide a better estimate after evaluating the system.

Warranties & service policies

Clear expectations. In writing.

UV-C equipment

Certain Fresh Air Solutions UV-C packages include a lifetime equipment warranty, subject to the specific terms provided with the customer’s service agreement.

Where applicable, warranty coverage may be transferable to a subsequent homeowner.

Warranty terms, exclusions, maintenance requirements, replacement components, labor coverage, and treatment coverage should be stated in the customer’s written service agreement.

Advanced treatment warranty

Qualifying advanced microbial-growth treatment services may include a six-month limited service warranty.

Coverage applies only to the areas and HVAC components specifically treated and is subject to the written warranty terms provided at the time of service.

Conditions caused by unresolved moisture, water intrusion, HVAC malfunction, structural problems, flooding, excessive humidity, or contamination originating outside the treated area may require corrective work and may not be covered.

Customer authorization

Any additional services recommended after the initial inspection are explained to the customer and authorized before work is performed.

Results

Because every property and HVAC system is different, Fresh Air Solutions does not guarantee that duct cleaning, sanitizing, antimicrobial treatment, air purification, or UV-C equipment will eliminate every airborne contaminant, odor, allergen, or source of microbial growth.
